Mitsubishi L200 Cab Roof Rack

Dave asked Lifes Adventure Overland to fabricate a bespoke cab roof rack to support his newly purchased ARB Simpson III roof tent and to create a custom lighting system including front facing light bar, and two auxiliary lights.
The bespoke cab rack featured a flat platform to accommodate the tent, and a lower front loop rail for aesthetics and to neatly mount a front light bar. It was fabricated from lightweight tubular steel, which was first zinc coated to protect against rust, then powder coated in gloss black for extra durability.
As well as fabricating mounting points on the rack for the customer’s auxiliary lighting system, we also installed and wired the system in for him.
